Our Story
With a lifelong passion for makeup and a career in cosmetics, I struggled to find eyeliners that truly complement all skin types, particularly those vibrant and pigmented enough to match my bubbly personality, and my ongoing frustration in not finding a variety of pigmented colors, I decided to create my own eyeliners. Initially, I experimented with formulations for fun, using high-quality pigments, dedicating time to research, and facing several setbacks until I finally achieved a breakthrough! This high-quality pigmented formula was everything I had hoped for!
Excited by the breakthrough, I shared my creation with my husband, Steve Gordon, who proposed turning this into a business. After successful lab tests and two years of positive feedback from friends and family who wore samples of our eyeliners, we knew we have something special!
The enthusiasm and compliments received confirmed the demand for such a product. Inspired, my husband then came up with the perfect name, "Ooh Girl!", for our brand in July 2024, capturing the essence and joy our products bring to their users.
